Range Hood
My neighbors were doing some minor updating in the kitchen and wanted a basic range hood with a simplistic dimension and design. I started by tiling the backsplash and trimmed out the kitchen window.
I started the framework using 2'x3's and based the dimensions on the electric hood that was purchased.

I needed the lip at the bottom in order to provide a solid base to attach the hood using screws. |

I used a 12" poplar for the natural wood look and lined it up with the lip. |

The stain was ebony color. I painted the top first. Then a day later, taped off the top and stained the bottom. |

The hood vent fit perfectly and was set up as a ductless vent. The one we got was something like this one |
